Happy Horse Ranch is a wonderful horse boarding
facility in the Rio Verde Foothills, in the North Scottsdale
/ Phoenix area, Arizona. The mission of the ranch is to
provide a natural setting for horses, so they can live in a
herd and stay healthy and happy!
Happy Horse Ranch can accommodate a maximum of
five horses in a herd setting. Stalls are available if
needed for rehabilitation purposes. The horses are
individually cared for and monitored several times a
day. Happy Horse Ranch management has 25 years of
experience in various equine settings. We also welcome
yearlings that need to have a good place to grow up,
old horses in retirement or special needs horses.

We provide an ideal setting for trail riders, young horses, old horses or special needs horses.
Happy Horse Ranch is a small ranch and ideal for the passionate trail rider who will enjoy direct access to endless trails in the Sonoran Desert. You can ride off
the ranch on dirt roads and you are within a maximum of 15 minutes in the Tonto National Forest. There you will find endless trails through the scenic desert
and to the Verde River.
Happy Horse Ranch is also conveniently located, close to a lot of famous horse trainers for Quarter Horses, Arabians or gated horses, such as Dusty Spur Ranch
You can ride your horse to team sorting events, roping practices and cow-working events on the various neighbor ranches, such as the Rio Verde Horse and
Cattle Club
Happy Horse Ranch is also only a 5-minute ride away from the famous Arizona Cowboy College where you can learn Western or English horsemanship skills and
